Greetings!
The United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce is a is a non-profit 501(c)(6), leading Bi-national business organization, working to build mutually beneficial trade and investment relationships between United States-Mexico and the Americas. It has more than 3000 members and operates regionally with 23 Chapters throughout both Mexico and the United States. Its headquarters are located in both Mexico City and Washington DC. The Inter-American Chapter's main office is located in Miami, Florida.

Mexican Highways: Paving the Way for Economic Growth Mexico's highway network is the backbone of the transportation system and is key in the country's strategy to increase its global competitiveness. Therefore, Mexico is giving high priority to the modernization of its road infrastructure in order to enable it to become one of the main logistics platforms of the world and take full advantage of its geographical position and free trade agreements.
New Winds Blow in Mexico's Energy Sector In 2008, Mexico adopted a strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% from its 2000 level by 2050. To address this goal, Mexico has taken various steps to diversify its energy mix. In 2008, a mere 3.3% of total installed capacity for generating electricity came from renewable sources. Mexico's Renewable Energy Program aims to more than double this level by 2012 with wind power intended to play a significant role.

MIAMI DADE COSTAL CLEAN UP
The United-States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Inter-American Chapteris partnering up with Robert Allen Law to help promote the 2010 Miami-Dade Coastal Cleanup, a part of the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup.
Every third Saturday in September, volunteers around the world unite in an effort to clean up Earth's precious beaches and coastal areas
This event will take place on September 25th, 2010, from 9:00AM to 12:00PM in 40 sites throughout Miami-Dade. For more information or to register as a volunteer please go to www.miamidadecoastalcleanup.org
